Frequently Asked Questions

What is the age requirement?
Wisconsin state law requires that you must be eighteen years of age — regardless of parental consent or accompaniment — to receive a tattoo.
What is the shop minimum?
There is a minimum of $100 for any tattoo work. Individual artist rates vary based on style, complexity, and pace.
How much does a tattoo cost?
Our artists are independent contractors and each sets their own rates. Pricing varies by artist, design complexity, size, and time required. Call us at (920) 435-7152 or stop in for an estimate — consultations are free.
What is the deposit policy?
Deposits are required for all tattoo bookings and cover drawing fees and artist time. We have a no-refund policy on all deposits. With 24-hour advance cancellation notice, your deposit transfers to a future booking.
Is there a charge for a custom drawing?
Yes. The deposit taken at booking is held in lieu of drawing fees and is deducted from your final cost. It is non-refundable.
Can I take a design home before my appointment?
Stock designs are copyrighted and cannot leave the studio. Custom artwork also stays in-studio unless the artist makes an exception.
What is a consultation?
A consultation is a free, scheduled 15-minute meeting with a tattoo artist to discuss your ideas, reference images, pricing, timing, and any questions you have. Call (920) 435-7152 to schedule one.
Do you take walk-ins?
Walk-ins are welcome if an artist is available, but we recommend calling ahead to confirm availability and avoid waiting.
Can I book by email?
Email is great for estimates and general questions, but appointments require a phone call or in-person visit. Call us at (920) 435-7152.
What should I bring to my appointment?
Bring any reference artwork you have, a valid state or federal ID, and make sure you've eaten a good meal and are well hydrated before your session.
Does it hurt?
Pain is subjective and varies by person and placement. Generally, fatty areas tend to hurt more, muscle areas hurt the least, and bony areas fall somewhere in between.
Can I request a specific artist?
Absolutely — and we encourage it. Each artist has their own style, pace, and approach. Booking with the same artist for both consultation and tattoo ensures the best result.
What styles do your artists work in?
Our artists are experienced in all types of artwork — custom and stock, black and grey, color, fine line, traditional, neo-traditional, Japanese, old school, portraits, and more. Check individual artist pages to see their specialties.
Can I get a consultation if I'm not from Green Bay?
Remote consultations are often challenging. We recommend sending photos and a detailed description so an artist can assess feasibility before you make the trip.
