About the Artist
Steve Wickert discovered his passion for tattooing at age 14 while witnessing a professional tattoo in Florida. He completed a nearly five-year apprenticeship in Wisconsin Dells at Point Blank Tattoo, then relocated to Miami to work at Tattoos by Lou — the very shop where he first saw tattooing done professionally.
Before settling in Green Bay in 2010, Steve worked tattoo conventions nationwide and joined the National Tattoo Association. He specializes in custom designs with a strong affinity for Japanese and American traditional styles. He believes great tattoos tell personal stories and that every piece should be as unique as the person wearing it.
